This bike lamp clearly uses counterfeit Cree XM-L2 LEDs. However for this price I won't complain because I'm planning to replace the LEDs with ones with warmer and nicer tint anyway. Overall I'm really impressed with lamp especially for the price. It is really small, it even has temperature protection. I like the switching between the modes; there are soft transitions and you don't turn the lamp of when switching modes. This is done by holding the power button, which is very convinient. Another downside along the fake LEDs could be waterproofing. Mine had missing seal on the back cover and where the cable enters the case there is no sealing or anything also.
