There are lots of problems with this level. First the housing is aluminium which is not durable at all. The surface was full of small dents and scratches so I used a precision ground flatstone to be able to use it at all. There is no wooden box, but a cheap plastic box. I also tested the accuracy with some class 1 gauge blocks on a granite surface plate and it is nowhere 0.02mm/m (more like 0.1mm/m). The base is also not accurate and only touches on the edges. The small vial is waaaay off and there is no way to adjust it (simply glued in the housing with hotglue!). Also the glass that covers the vial is loose and has a broken edge. The screw used to adjust the main vial works, but has a coarse thread making it very hard to adjust. All in all a very very poor tool.
very cute ♡
