High index lenses are almost exclusively made in plastic these days, so this mineral glass product was interesting. High index glass offers a slightly higher Abbe value than a comparable index plastic lens and is naturally more scratch resistant, so hopefully the optics will stay clearer for longer; time will tell. These were made up by the lab to my prescription and fitted to my choice of frames. There was a small problem with one of the original lenses received, but the seller promised to remake the lens. She, in fact, went beyond the call of duty and not only sent a replacement lens, but sent a pair of lenses, neatly wrapped in a cloth, hard case and a mini screwdriver! Thank you, seller!
