The description says that it starts at 4.5V DC, but I can't hear any music even at 5V DC. There is white noise even on battery power. The noise is maxed out at the center of the volume lever. In terms of sound quality, it is thick and well localized. It is a very good amplifier if the noise can be reduced.
The L/R positions of the speaker terminals are reversed. R terminal on the left L terminal on the right
