Good clamp. Overkill size, but a big one can do everything the small ones can, so why not. It does feel lighter than I had expected. For a large piece of "xast iron", I thought this would be heavier. Maybe the divets along the side cut enough weight, not sure. Either way, good vice. It does exactly as described
