The new model has had some design changes, the cable is a little thicker and looks worse than the old version, the volume controller and answering calls is all plastic (old model was metal), the sound quality is the same, I still prefer the old version that looks a lot more premium, in the new version the rubber around the wire is thicker and you can see the transparent rubber, its kinda weird that the color of the earphone looks like black with white, the old version was thinner and you couldnt see the transparent rubber color, despite the changes it's still a good earphone.
