I bought one earlier to test in an application. Ordered 4 more. Wish there was a higher speed version. This works great in incremental encoders except the very fine resolution encoders where the encoder count rate may exceed 15 KHZ. For most applications it is fine. Note the 15KHZ incremental encoder limitation before buying. It stops counting if you exceed 15KHZ. Note this displays encoder lines, not transitions.
