This tool was advertised as an aglet tool. It is a crimping tool for electronics. I tried using the tool and the aglet almost has to be completely closed in order for it to actually work, and then it leaves tool marks on the aglet. I am using the standard 4mm aglet. Maybe smaller aglets might work with this tool. I had to order another aglet tool.
