The hair is shiny and looks synthetic. Sheds a lot comes out in strands. The combs on the sides of the unit came undone and are non-functional after using once. The price of the topper was low which resulted in a poorly constructed item. I would not recommend this item if you don’t want to have to secure the combs and wear synthetic hair. It took some time to get the item in the US.
