Having inspected the item as it arrived I see that a, it is a matt finish, I need a gloss finish. and b the thickness of the silver and gold coat is too thin to be able to put on to polyester ribbon. I will have to look for a good thermal silver and gold that is a, shiny and b thick enough to put onto polyester ribbon. This will probably work to a degree on paper. or labels
