It is my fault not paying more attention to pictures, so I am mentioning it here: I do think this has a flaw in the design as it blocks the jack connection with a plastic knob that is used to fix the base to the Echo... And for me this is quite a problem as I was planning to use it mostly just for that (plugging headphones) during late evenings (connected to FireTV) The battery lasts a moderate amount of time, even if the Echo is not playing anything.
