Item itself is ok and looks to be of a decent quality leather. However, the item absolutely reeks of machine oil and stinks like a car repairers garage. Having worked in engineering for a number of years, I know this smell and it's obvious that this item was either soaked in machine oil during the leather cutting process, or had some spilled over it at some stage. This item should smell of leather, but instead smells of an oil sump.
