Quality is good for beginners. Tines not very even. There' are a couple of dull notes. It has to be re-tuned after a couple of (long) sessions, the right side of the keyboard especially is not easy to tune. I own two other kalimbas and this is not the best I play. Neither the worse, but the one I consider the last is quite cheaper
