After I turn off the lamp by twisting the transparent cylinder and leave it overnight, I cannot turn it on by twisting the next night. I have to restart the lamp by turning off the main power switch at the bottom of the lamp, and then turn it on again. quite troublesome to do every night. The design is otherwise very nice.
