Good quality headphones, the build is kind of cheap but not bad at all. Build was lighter than expected. Good amount of base and treble, sound can get too bright sometimes, not that good with highs. Mids come through clear but needs software tweaking to sound good with movies. Comfortable to wear highly recommend that you get the velvet ear cups if you live in a warm environment. The 3.5 mm jack comes with an adapter so all is good. Works well with laptops and phones as well, impedance is not too high. I don't think you need an amplifier for this unless you like to blast your music up to a painful degree. if you're getting these headphones for gaming and it's microphone capabilities, you're better off getting a separate microphone. Microphone sounds good, better than most, but the price point as compared to the HD 440 and the recording levels of mic being so low almost makes it not worth it. The one without the microphone cost $20 less, buy that.
