Works but >only< works on your Onkyo device. The original RC can be configured to control other devices, like a Samsung TV or a Sony DVD-player. The required buttons are available on this RC However they cannot be programmed so they're of no use. Effectively I have now one original RC with a few defective functions and a second one with other, not working functions. If asked the seller will tell you this. I would like to have known before ordering.
