Instructions included with the product are not for the focus mk1, even though they stated they are. I installed the product as the instructions told me to, only to try and close my hood and find out the product was not installed correctly (but was correct according to the instructions). The damaged my hood and one of the brackets required for installation. I ended up looking a the video of the product to get an idea of how to install the product correctly (as the instructions result in a damaged hood). Long story short: I now have a minor damage to my hood and due to the damaged bracket the product is installed rather flimsy. The hood only opens about half way after installing the product (as done in the video). Therefore the product is not really usefull if you ever need to get anything done under your hood. Would not recommend wasting your money on this product.
