Definitely looks like the product photo. Also has the fakest kurouchi finish I've seen on all of my knives, so if that's very important to you I'd probably recommend the grandsharp instead. Fairly thin metal, and definitely sharp. Not too heavy. Fits nicely into my hand in a pinch grip. I can't speak to the hardness of the metal, other than that it feels fine. The handle feels pretty plasticky. I don't really mind, but if you are looking for aesthetics and plastic isn't your jam then probably avoid this knife. The handle also has a small defect of brown coloring where it should be black. The packaging is kind of annoying compared to other knives, it comes wrapped in a plastic bag that was difficult to get off properly. Nothing deal-breaking, though. One of the plastic corner protectors was split in half so was not doing its job of protecting the corner. Not sure if that speaks to the quality of the protector or the sharpness of the knife :p
Thank you, the knife is very well made
