very good
BRUSHED 380s have 2.3mm shafts but most brushless 380 motors have a 3.17mm shaft the same as a 540. This motor is perfect for those times when you simply have to reuse the stock pinion from your brushed 360/380/390 motor whether it's an obscure old boat or plane or even converting a Nikko to hobby grade, there are some pinions around that you simply can't find for 3.17mm shafts such as 8 tooth mod 0.7 This motor is really useful for those special circumstances. The only downside is the same as many brushless 380 cans, the diameter is very slightly over spec compared to a legacy brushed 380 motor. Not a problem most of the time but if you have a vehicle where the mount wraps around the motor, you might run into problems because the can is about 0.5mm wider than brushed and simply won't fit into some vehicles. I've yet to find a motor that is both 27.6mm diameter AND 2.3mm shaft. That would be the holy grail.
