I have high hopes for this product, looks good but only time will tell. I'm going to use one on a 12v battery powered electric fence unit and one on an automatic open/close chicken feeder to keep the rats out at night. The programming is really easy and well presented, with one exception - the manual says it can be put into sleep mode (to conserve battery) by holding the DAY and HOUR buttons for 3 seconds but on my units that didn't work, it was the HOUR and MIN that did it. The little memory battery can't be accessed from the outside but I'm assuming it can be accessed by removing the 4 phillips head screws and back cover. I wasn't keeping track but the shipping seemed to take a while I think. I just expect that on ali though.
