Not a transmitter. Just a receiver It looks really nice, wih a rubbery coating. Except the 3.5 jack which is very cheap. Comes with USB charging cable (not in my pictures). It sounds very good in a mini sound system, with plenty of bass, not so many highs (probably the sound system is to blame). No hiss or sharp strange noises. Came with drained battery so i had to charg it in my audio systems USB port, for 1 hour. The buttons + and - control the playlist in youtube and audio player. Battery seems to last more than 2 hours (I've listened already for more than 1 hour and on my phone the Bluetooth reports 90% battery left). Considering the price, I'm more than satisfied.
Correction: it is also a transmitter. Just plug the phones jack in and play music through Bluetooth. Sounds much louder then from smartphone with cabled headphones. The downside: as explained before, high frequencies sound bad, like 128 kbps mp3s
fast delivery and good sound. easy connection with other device.
