The ESP32-S2 works well now with the esp32s2 tree of the Arduino IDE. Some functions are only available in ESP-IDF however, e.g. auto light sleep. May be used as a more powerful but low power replacement for ESP12-F modules. If you need a minimal breakout board ready to get printed, search for "esp32s2" on the EasyEDA website. I recommend getting the ESP32-S2-WROVER, because of the PSRAM. Recommendable seller.
