I bought it because of its onvif capabilities and it does the job. You can get the video stream locally and survey it from a NAS surveillance system. The mobile app is only needed to connect the device to you 2.4Ghz wifi. Once connected you can uninstall the app and configure the device from a PC using EasyTool, a windows software you can get at p6scloud.com. It discovers the device on your LAN and lets you configure even a static IP and the DNS, aside of the other working parameters on video and mail notifications. I'm very satisfied.
