BEWARE: error in description, base ID = 7mm (and not 8mm). But this knob fits 5mm shaft!!! So it is impossible to insert a ball bearing at the base, because 5x7x2.5mm ball bearing does not exist. It is either 4x7x2.5mm (Daiwa) or 5x8x2.5mm (ABU Garcia). See photos. I will use the knobs without ball bearings ;-(

BEWARE: error in description, base ID = 7mm (and not 8mm). But this knob fits 5mm shaft!!! So it is impossible to insert a ball bearing at the base, because 5x7x2.5mm ball bearing does not exist. It is either 4x7x2.5mm (Daiwa) or 5x8x2.5mm (ABU Garcia). See photos. I will use the knobs without ball bearings ;-(
