Plays well. Has a bit of a rollover baffle and a medium high step baffle. You can get a combination of sound that will blend well in a jazz band but also some power to solo. These are not super bright like high baffle mouthpieces. This is a good setup to play a variety of music. The 7 for alto is also pretty free blowing.
