this controller has no brakes..just the motor is disconnected no braking. Ali is firmly on the seller's side. Any evidence is insufficient, even such that the seller himself admits in his correspondence that there are no brakes even though they should be ... who needs brakes don't buy

Product does not come with low level brake. The wires in the controller labeled "Low-Brake" simply cut power to the motor and leave it freeroll. No braking effect. DANGEROUS. After receiving the order the seller tells the braking function has to be ordered seperately and in great quantities which seems absurd to leave not mentioned immediately whilst ordering. The seller has not been compliant on any of my proposition on refunds or excjanges...
