the moon lamp overall is nice and somewhat looked like the picture. it doesn’t have to be connected to the electricity when you turn it on or change colors. i’m guessing the plug in is just for the lamp to charge. something that really concerned me was that the remote connected with my tv. i was watching american horror story and when i turned on my lamp, my tv started flashing a bunch of colors and then it said no signal. i pointed the remote at the tv, pressed on and off a couple times, and it kept showing the tv settings and other things. i think my tv is broken now. also, i can’t use any other control. example: i can’t use my led light control on the moon lamp.
Item exactly as advertised. Functions very well and looks great. I can recommend it.
