On a Linux Desktop, the video signal is cut every 10-20 min the screen goes black during 1-2 sec. Then I have replaced this adapter by 3 adapters (DP->DVI+DVI->HDMI+HDMI->VGA !) and even with 3 old adapters it's working without video signal cut! Anyway it was a cheap price but it's not a reason to completely forget testing it.
