It totally worth it. Sound is good, you should believe me. But only if you will figure out how to wire it properly, cause seller sends unsuitable schematics and ignores questions about wiring
Donlis has the best pickups on AliExpress IMHO. Humbucker side: 14.7k single coil side: 6.5k both in series: 21.2k I plan to wire the switch to choose which side is on, never all in series. it may be tempting but the lowest noise will be with just the humbucker rails on alone. a1 aC a2 b1 bC b2 aC=hot out (to pickup select switch) bC=ground out=(PU black and PU bare), a1 = b2 =(PU red and PU white), A2 = (PU green) Didn't come with screws but generic M3 thread screws fit so I found some nice brass screws. (Dimarzio and SD use 2.5mm so you can't use those screws)
Very good split sound. used it as a neck pickup. only thing that is weird is that the humbucker sound is weaker than expected (just the humbucker side) so I put all 3 coils in series to get a closer to humbucker output (this is the suggested wiring but I expected to choose between each side). Didn't come with screws but that was expected, luckily a normal metric size. Not those "impossible to find" Dimarzio sizes. I would not recommend this as a bridge pickup unless you love strats and teles and don't mind a little bit of hum. Ideal for someone who tried p-rails but couldn't find a strat setting. Anybody who would like a proper single coil neck pickup tone in a H spot and then sometimes wants it a bit fatter. I would actually like something like a Stagmag (2 single coils side by side on a humbucker base with 12 magnetic poles). hopefully that comes next!
