The board received has a slightly different layout to the pictures. Check the cable for power to J1, the polarity marking on the board is the correct. The cable had red/black swapped. Operates 9-12V. Simple kit to assemble but no instructions included on how the clock is set. S3 seems to cycle modes (clock set, alarm set, countdown, stopwatch, stopwatch2).
I did not solder the 3mm LEDs included.
