Good board for low price. I used inexpensive cabinet, K47 one sided 34mm capsule and just tested this new mic. There is no boost at low end, sibilants are not harsh but natural. Self noise is not the best in the world, but OK (I´d say: similar to MXL). If you need a super quet Schoeps-like circuit board, then go for "Microphone Parts" MP-V57 PCB Kit. But MP-V57 kit is not assembled and it 4-5 times more expensive. All in all: this board for DIY LDC microphone is impressively good. And it going to be one of my daily VO mics.
