Just want to share that the shallow spool fits my Rapala Rage perfectly . However you may have to change the baitcaster side plate original smaller bearing in case you have difficulty to insert the shallow spool shaft. Replace it with bearing size 3x10x4mm as shown photos below. For me I actually took the opportunity to upgrage both shaft bearings to ceramic type (5x11x4mm which is attached with the spool) and 3x10x4mm which is embeded in the side cover.
