This neck is looking amazing. The packaging in molded styrofoam protects it from almost anything that could happen. I had it personalized to have scalloped with small headstock and custom logo. I am really happy. I have yet to install it on my build, but it looks good so far.
After writing a good review because the neck looked amazing, it all changed when I tried to install it on my strat body. The frets are so uneven that it is impossible to use as an instrument. I did pay a luthier to level all the frets and it removed so much material that some problematic frets are now almost completely gone. I cant even make them round again. Even then, there is a couple of spots where I still need to remove the little remaining material. There was a big bump between the 10 and 15 frets, hardly repairable. It looks like no one at the factory even checked the neck before shipping, making sure it was straight and usable for an instrument. Now I am stucked with an object that will only good-enough to hang on the wall. I am so disappointed with the outcome. I have contacted the seller, Sunny, who had been great so far, but no answer.
