Super cheaply made. They are way less powerful than advertised, they get hot quickly, and they indeed flicker very badly. I haven't tried dimming them yet, but I'm like 90% sure it wouldn't work well, and it would flicker even more. Don't buy these if you are suffering from light triggered epilepsy, or you will have quite a bad time :) :) -(that was just a joke, but the flickering is truly very very annoying) You get what you pay for - almost nothing. Probably not the best choice for your living room. Just read more of the reviews here, but from people who have actually tried these before writing a review. If you are still interested, buy one and then decide if you want more.
