First of all I am an experienced audiophile/TV enthusiast with a lot of hifi and AV equipment. Problem with this product is that the sound is heavily distorted. The unit is connected via optical toslink, which is the only digital output option from my TV. Doesn't matter which optical output settings on my TV. Basically it's unusable from the moment I plugged it in. Disappointing!
