Affects sound quality a bit. Not by much, but I can feel a loss of clarity (DT 990). Probably due to less holes in the back of the earpads from the originals. They were also harder to mount on the headphones. But the quality is not bad and comfort is good. So yeah I would say it's worth the price but better stick to originals if you want a perfect experience. Good delivery time.
