If you live in 110V. area, DO NOT buy this item, the so called converter is NOT a voltage converter but merely a plugging device that allows you to add on the existing plug in order to plug into a N. America household power outlet. I am in Canada and with the so called adapter, it does not work, it will just go one for a few seconds and stop. Even when I keep turning it back on, the water will go to about 40 celsius and stop, turning itself off.
