it was a very good motor, it was surprisingly fast for 3 volts but I don't think it's brushless as I could reverse the leads with no problems, the leads eventually came out of the motor (quite probably due to user error) and there's no way to fix it without specialised tools, for such a low price it's definitely worth a try.
