The plastic is good and sturdy as the original one. It's also very nice to touch. Package contains set of screws and additions required + screwdriver which is useful, especially the screws, because nintendo's original aren't good and might not survive unscrewing-screwing back. I would say you HAVE TO get a pair of tweezers to save you a time unplugging and plugging ribbon cables. The only downside with my kit was that a leg and a backplate painted bit different shade, but it's not disturbing so I'm pretty happy overall/
