This is a nice chip to create a DIY bluetooth speaker, though it has two issues. When switching on the module and connecting a voice will blast through your speakers at max volume announcing it is connecting/connected. The module also "forgets" the volume setting when powered off and on again, so the moment you start playing something the volume will be crazy loud until you adjust it again. Once running and set at the correct volume the quality is surprisingly good.
