Boots are exactly like shown. The bottomed are waterproof, but on inside of boot there are air vents to release heat, so only waterproof about 1.5 inches. (see photo) As other comments said, order 1 size bigger. I am a 44 and ordered 45. The 45 fit perfect. With COVID and Christmas the order time was acceptable.
