This is a good bent nib/fude nib pen. I had seen a couple of artists on Youtube who like this pen for drawing (including Teoh Yi Chie), so I was tempted to give it a try. I ordered another bent nib pen at the same time, a Hero, and I just liked the Duke better all around. In fact I liked this so much, I'll probably order another 209 with the regular nib. For one, I like a small pen. This is even a bit smaller than a Platinum Preppy, so if you have large hands you might find it too small in the hand. But build quiality seems good, I like the matte finish, and this pen came with the best quality converter of the 4 fountain pens I ordered (the other 2 Jinhaos). And most importantly, the nib was really a pleasant surprise. The cap also seals with a firm click and appears to have a decent liner.
