The product actually does what it suppose to. Used it in my 2004 Mazda 6. As it was said in item description, an internal head-unit modification was needed, so after I welded a jumper on a radio circuit board L716 contacts, everything worked as it should. When CD button is pressed, it switches between CD and the MP3 interface, same can be done using "mode" button on a steering-wheel. All steering-wheel buttons remain function.
