In general, it's not a bad device. Still it has one irritating issue, which is that it isn't able to get water temperature data when the car has been turned off for 30 minutes, or more. To get it to receive proper data, I need to disconnect the OBD connector for a couple of seconds and let the device re-initialize fully. When it is not receiving coolant temperature data, it will instead make a bad simulation, counting from 15 with 3 seconds intervals, until it reaches 92. This is really, really bad, as misinformation is a lot worse than no information at all. Better leave the section unlit then. I'll probably have to split off the power supply from the OBD connector to a ignition switched circuit.
