Works great, but regarding electrical safety: ATTENTION! There are several safety violations: Two wire mains plug (no earthing contact and protective earth connection) but metal case and touchable output conductors (crocodiles). Either double or reinforced insulation combined with proper separation are mandatory with this setup but simply non-existent!. For instance, if one of the solder connections at the rocker switches breaks the wire can easily touch high voltage and, with the car battery connected, set the entire car body (which rests on four nice isolating tires) on mains voltage! The same applies for those switch wires touching the sharp-edged primary heatsink ... or any small piece of metal entering the device through the amply ventilation slots.
Case construction is simple but effective. My only complaint about mechanics are the self-tapping screws that tend to cut loose in the thin shell. With English display language and translation of panel annotation given in the description operation and monitoring becomes easy. The charging voltage displayed by the charger did closely correspond to multimeter readings (within 50mV). Charging of a half-full 60Ah lead-acid car battery stepped nicely through the operating modes from "constant current" starting at 8A to "full or no load" at end-of-charge voltage of 14.4V at +3°C. Other than safety-related design shortcomings: No transient overvoltage protection, inrush current limiter and EMI input filter whatsoever. Frequently encountered mains voltage spikes may suddenly ruin the charger. Lack of thermal paste between power components and heatsink may cause component overheat despite heatsink and forced air cooling.
