Good news: the pistol fits in it. (Original 7,63x25 C96 made in 1915). Bad news: finish of the wood is very rough. It must be sanded and refinished. Also had to put some fabric inside because the inner dimensions are greater than what it should be. The mounting rail is longer so it has to be filed shorter to allow the attaching to the pistol. The rail dimensions are also not perfect, it has some lateral play in the milling of the grip. Overall nice product for the price but many work is left with it. The shipping was very fast!
