The item received was in fact red cotton. My issues are I ordered double expecting it 2 come as 1 piece but it came as 2 which was annoying but the worst is it has now been washed about 9 times, soaked in vinagar, soaked in salt, soaked in dish soap and the colour catcher are still bright red. I bought it to use to make a snow white costume it was going to be a Cape and the detail on the sleeves but I can't use it as I fear it will run and ruin the rest ball gown so I've just wasted my money as even if I make something else with it it will still have the colour running and spoil anything else in the wash with it
