It is heavy, thick, has a nice lining. The pocket stitches dont feel terribly secure but as long as you arent rough with them it should hold fine. Pockets arent very deep but fit my hands. I'm 5'7 and it falls just at/past my knees. Im very happy with this

great , fabric wasnt too heavy or rough to the hands, reminder that it has no buttons but u can wrap the string around to keep it together
