They look good. Weak point is where the cable bends to exit from the internal board. Will add some hot plastic to that spot. For the CD to be viewed through the window, you must remove the top cover of the player/writer unit and mount it like that. It's great that you get an USB 3.0 -> USB-C adapter, very usefull in general.

If you do not put cardboard between the bottom plate and the drive unit when installing the drive unit, the operation is fine except that the bezel interferes with the bottom plate and does not close.
