This stone is of very good quality. It abrades steel quite fast, wears out relatively slow and the grit is fine enough (not sure if it is 3000 indeed, but it results with a really nicely polished surface on the blade). I can definitely recommend this product and seller. The only drawback is that the stone could be a little bit wider - 60mm or more.

This is a really good stone. It is definitely much harder and more wear resistant than a typical, ordinary corundum whetstones. The granularity is even slightly a bit above 3000.
